Just a quick update to advise I am hopeful of "normal service" resuming shortly.  Although, on second thoughts, has this blog ever actual known what normal service is?

Once again I find I have fallen foul of technology which meant I lost the use of my laptop for a little while.  Add a new memory and a hard drive to the mix and I can now write a post again but as the graphics card isn't cohabiting with its new siblings all that well I find posting pictures etc might be a bit out of my reach at the moment.  Grumble, whinge and complain!

On the bright side, I managed to back everything up before melt down occurred ... my laptop very kindly advised me of 'imminent failure pending' prior to throwing in the towel.  I kid you not, those were the words it used!  If it's clever enough to know that imminent failure is pending, surely it is clever enough to know not to allow the imminent failure to ever occur in the first place??  Again, grumble, whinge and complain!

So, returning full circle, I'm hoping that something akin to regular posts from me will start again in the next week or so ... if not, you know what's happened!  And if that is the case could you please send supplies of chocolate ... and maybe a Dell technician?
